XP Studio started its life as a standalone project, written in C#. A small team of C# programmers set up the project and started working on it. As with a lot of open source projects, however, the team soon fell apart. The original creator of the project got frustrated, and decided not to pursue the project any further.

But then he changed jobs, and entered into the Java scene. He started using Eclipse, and soon realized that this was just the kind of platform that would make a project like XP Studio feasible, even with a small number of developers. So, here's take two...
